Description
Mild Rogan Gosh (also Roghan Josh) is an aromatic curry dish hailing from Kashmir and is quite popular in India, Pakistan, Singapore and United Kingdom. Rogan means oil in Persian, while josh means heat, hot, boiling, or passionate. Rogan josh thus means cooked in oil at intense heat. Another interpretation of the name Rogan Josh is derived from the word ‘Rogan’ meaning color. While any meat can be used, lamb imparts a sweeter taste and hoggett or goat is much stonger and perhaps prefered by the connoisseurs.
Ingredients: no fillers only pure spices, coriander, cumin, cloves, cardamom, pepper, ginger, garlic, turmeric, nutmeg, mace, chilli.
